Taking a screenshot can be done with a single click or keystroke, thanks to modern days applications, but you would still have to go through a few extra steps if you wish to share your snapshots. This is where ScreenCloud comes in. Besides taking screenshots in just a second, it can also upload them to a cloud folder of your choice just as fast. The application comes with its own cloud storage service, but it provides support for third party services as well.

ScreenCloud is capable of capturing the entire screen, a selected area or an active window. While the application is running, you can take one of these screenshot types by pressing its corresponding keyboard combination or by selecting an option, through an icon on the menu bar. Once you take a screenshot, a small panel will appear on the screen, on which you can preview your snapshot, name it and choose where to store it. You can decide to send the snapshot to one of the supported cloud services, to a local folder or to the clipboard. Also, you can set the application to send your screenshots to one of these locations by default, without asking for any user input.

If you choose ScreenCloud as your storage location, you can access your screenshots on your default web browser almost instantly, just by selecting an option, through the aforementioned icon. The online dashboard displays your screenshots together with their age, names and number of views. What's more, you can add new names and short descriptions to each screenshot, delete them or upload new ones manually.

You can change the screenshot format, log in with a different account, change your hotkeys and make other settings on a tabbed menu, on which you can also manage the supported cloud services. Besides the ScreenCloud service, you can also add DropBox, Imgur, as well as FTP or SFTP servers. Additionally, you can add a local folder or a shell script to the same list, if you wish to save your screenshots on the hard drive.

Pros

You can take screenshots and upload them to a cloud folder in just a few seconds. The application allows you to send your snapshots to its own cloud storage service, to third party services or to FTP servers.

Cons

Support for more cloud storage services, like Google Drive or SkyDrive, would be a welcome addition. ScreenCloud's straightforward functionality enables you to share screenshots as fast and easy as possible.
